I actually stumbled upon today’s genealogical tidbit on eBay! Right now (and for the next 6 days) there is an antique cabinet photo of a pair of children, Martie & Mattie Begell, from Coudersport (Potter County) PA.
Here is the description given by the seller:
Antique Genealogy Item #88AV

On reverse: “Martie & Mattie Begall, Uncle Frank to oldest” handwritten in old pencil. Photo type: Cabinet Card photograph. Photographer: L.R. Bliss Photo Studio. Corner of Main & First Streets, Coudersport, Pennsylvania, Potter County. Found in Albany County NY. We belive the surname to be Begell, not Begall.
I found the following in census records:

Warren Begell 6
1900 census, martin 13 mattie 10 in Clymer, Tioga PA, son of Benjamin and
Charlotte another spelling Beegle and another Buckley.
A beautiful close up image of two young children in beautiful clothing.
Marie appears to be about 4-5 years old and his sister Mattie appears about 2.5 years.
We found Begall family in nearby Cornell NY, Steuben County. Do you know this Begall family?
Do you know what the reference to Frank is? May be a Frank Snyder, as found with Ida
Chase Northrup photo listed now also, her first husband was Frank.
The eBay listing also has a larger picture of the kids and also has a picture of the back of the photo with its description.

On the far left is Willis with his father, W.T. (William Truman) Haynes next to him. W.T.’s wife, Carrie E. Cleveland Haynes, is next with youngest child Earl Truman Haynes (my great grandfather) beside her. The oldest child, Frank, is on the far right.
Grandpa Haynes (Earl) was born in 1886, so I’m guessing this must have been taken in the early 1890’s.
